The Cape Fear Valley Pulmonary Fellowship Program is dedicated to providing quality and personalized pulmonary care to the patients of Cumberland County and surrounding communities. Our community is home to a medically underserved patient population, and our program seeks to improve access to care for our patients. In partnership with our sponsoring institution, Campbell University, we are committed to educating and training diverse and culturally competent physicians to practice in rural and underserved communities.
Our program is dedicated to support and enrich the pulmonary training of all primary care (internal medicine and family medicine) residents in the Cape Fear Valley Health System and the greater Cumberland County community.
The pulmonary fellowship program will engage in practices that focus on mission driven, ongoing systemic recruitment and retention of a diverse and inclusive workforce of residents, fellows, faculty members and other relevant members of the academic community. Our faculty are made up of members of pulmonary physicians that practice at Cape Fear Valley Health.
