The Volunteers of Cape Fear Valley Health aid in its mission to provide quality health care through non-medical assistance to staff, patients, and visitors. Auxiliary Volunteers also raise funds for equipment, projects, and building expansions. The 200 Volunteers serve in various capacities within Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital, Health Pavilion North, and other locations.

There are a variety of Volunteer roles to fit individual time schedules, abilities, and interests to also include clerical assignments and non-medical duties.
