Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Our seven-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is located within our Children's Center.

The PICU is for critically ill children who require close observation and more intense medical and nursing care to aid the healing process. Our patients come from many counties throughout Southeastern North Carolina.

Since the patients in PICU are in critical condition, we have restricted visiting guidelines and hours to protect their wellbeing. We ask that no more than two people visit at a time.

Parents, grandparents and legal guardians may visitany time during their child's stay. All other visitors may visit at the following times: 11a.m. - 9p.m. with a parent, grandparent or legal guardian present.
