Oasis Complementary Medicine Program

Cancer treatment - true, complete cancer care - is holistic, addressing the mind, body and soul, not just the cancer. The Cancer Center's Oasis Complementary Medicine Program was created with this approach in mind.

The program offers individual sessions in massage therapy, reflexology and Healing Touch. Art therapy and "Look Good...Feel Better®" sessions are also offered. Most of the services are free, and all are relaxing, fun or informative. Some services may even help manage the symptoms experienced during traditional cancer treatments like radiation therapy or chemotherapy.

Patients currently undergoing cancer treatment or up to one year after treatment may use the Oasis' services at either of the Cancer Center's two locations: Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and Health Pavilion North.
